ABOUT US: Prometheus is the Product Management and Technology Club at XLRI. A merger of a 36-year-old tech committee - SOCRATES, with ProdUX, the ProdMan Interest Group was institutionalized as a dedicated society to meet the changing market demands of BizTech and PM roles in XLRI.
RESPONSIBILITIES & INITIATIVES: The committee aims to create leaders in the field of Product Management by undertaking various responsibilities and initiatives in the interest of the student community at XLRI. We work to develop and promote the interest in tech and product literacy at XLRI, by organizing quizzes, talks, and product teardown sessions regularly. We develop and maintain mobile phone applications for benefit of students XLRI. Some of our other initiatives include maintaining the Student Body Elections Portal, C.H.A.R.M.S. portal, Spare Laptop Inventory Management, and managing the overall IT infrastructure at XLRI. The committee helps the students with their placement preparation; researching and collating tech and product compendiums. We also organize India's largest Techno Product Management fest - TeXLence every year.
